Job description

As Release Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the entire release planning process, including preparing release plans, scheduling releases and managing the release calendar. You will work closely with teams such as development and Infra & Security to ensure that releases run smoothly and deadlines are met in terms of service delivery. Your technical expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, AKS and CI/CD tools is key in this regard. You are managing complex projects within a multinational business service environment and delivery against targets.

Your responsibilities:

• Coordinate the entire release planning from start to finish;
• Develop release plans, identifying scope, schedule and resources required;
• Collaborate and communicate with development and other relevant departments to ensure alignment of release targets and times;
• Applying ITIL principles for an efficient release management approach;
• Managing complex projects within a multinational business service environment and delivery against targets.

Knowledge & Experience

• Proven experience in software release management in a complex environment for at least 3 years;
• Extensive knowledge / experience with Kubernetes, Docker and AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service);
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and ArgoCD;
• Good knowledge of ITIL disciplines and processes;
